Job Description

career.imfdirectgov is actively seeking an exceptional Senior CNC Machinist to join our innovative and rapidly expanding team in West Edmonton. This unique and highly valued role is specifically designed for a seasoned professional who not only brings deep expertise in advanced CNC machining but also possesses a genuine desire to contribute to a highly collaborative and supportive environment that is explicitly ‘Beginner Friendly’. While we fully anticipate you will arrive with a wealth of knowledge and practical experience, we are equally proud of our organizational culture that champions continuous learning, mutual support, and skill refinement, making it an ideal place for someone looking to either master new equipment, embrace new manufacturing processes, or effectively mentor emerging talent within the field.

As a pivotal Senior CNC Machinist, you will be instrumental in the precise programming, meticulous setup, and efficient operation of our advanced multi-axis CNC milling and turning machines. Your primary objective will be the production of high-quality, precision parts that consistently meet and exceed stringent engineering specifications. Your keen eye for intricate detail, unwavering commitment to quality craftsmanship, and thorough understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) will be paramount. Beyond the hands-on technical aspects, you will play a crucial role in proactively optimizing machine performance, skillfully troubleshooting complex technical issues that may arise, and actively implementing data-driven process improvements across our production lines. This position requires a highly proactive and self-motivated individual, fully capable of working independently on challenging and critical projects, while simultaneously contributing positively and constructively to our cohesive, team-oriented atmosphere.

We are specifically looking for an individual who can not only flawlessly execute the most complex machining tasks with precision and efficiency but also embodies a strong willingness to openly share their extensive technical knowledge and guide less experienced team members. If you are deeply passionate about achieving unparalleled precision, unequivocally committed to operational excellence, and genuinely eager to work within an environment that profoundly values both mastery and mentorship, career.imfdirectgov offers an exceptionally rewarding and fulfilling career path. This is a fantastic, long-term opportunity to truly leverage your senior-level skills in a progressive setting that genuinely supports comprehensive professional development, embraces new ideas and methodologies, and ultimately ensures that every team member, from the most seasoned expert to those adapting to new workflows, feels thoroughly empowered, valued, and successful in their contributions. Join us and shape the future of precision manufacturing!
