Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine lawn maintenance, including mowing, edging, weeding, and blowing.
- Plant, prune, trim, and cultivate flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools.
- Maintain and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of all green spaces.
- Clear debris, leaves, and trash from grounds, pathways, and parking areas.
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides safely and effectively as needed.
- Monitor and address plant health, identifying and treating diseases or pest infestations.
- Prepare grounds for seasonal changes, including winterization and spring planting.
- Ensure all grounds are maintained to the highest safety and aesthetic standards.
- Assist with minor repairs and general upkeep of outdoor facilities as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscaping.
- Proficiency in operating lawn care equipment and power tools.
- Knowledge of horticultural practices, including planting, pruning, and pest control.
- Ability to perform physical labor, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
