We believe in nurturing talent, and this position is designed to provide comprehensive training and mentorship, guiding you through the intricacies of modern infrastructure, automation, and cloud technologies.
You will gain hands-on experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, learning to automate workflows, manage infrastructure as code, and monitor systems for optimal health and security. Your daily tasks will involve collaborating closely with developers to understand application requirements, provisioning and configuring environments, troubleshooting deployment issues, and contributing to the improvement of our operational efficiency. This isn’t just about maintaining systems; it’s about building scalable, resilient, and secure solutions that directly impact the efficacy of public services.
We are looking for someone eager to learn, who possesses a foundational understanding of Linux environments, scripting languages, and perhaps some exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. While this is an entry-level position, your curiosity, problem-solving aptitude, and dedication to mastering new technologies will be your greatest assets. You will be empowered to explore new tools, suggest improvements, and take ownership of critical components of our infrastructure under expert guidance.
This remote role offers the flexibility to work from Hot Springs, Arkansas, or anywhere within a compatible time zone, while still being an integral part of a collaborative team. We foster a culture of continuous learning, providing access to resources, courses, and certifications to support your professional growth. If you are passionate about technology, eager to make a tangible difference, and ready to embrace the challenges of a fast-paced, innovative environment, career.imfdirectgov is the place for you to build a foundational and impactful career in DevOps.
