Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to standards.
- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance standards are met or exceeded.
- Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules and routines.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, placing orders as needed.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly followed by the housekeeping team.
- Address guest requests and resolve any complaints promptly and courteously.
- Report maintenance issues and damages to the appropriate department for timely repair.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new housekeeping team members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews for staff and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities, staff attendance, and supply usage.
