Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty drinks, adhering to recipes and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other cafe equipment, ensuring proper cleaning and calibration.
- Provide exceptional, friendly, and efficient customer service, taking orders accurately and making personalized recommendations.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, seating areas, restrooms, and overall cafe space throughout your shift.
- Monitor and restock inventory, including coffee beans, milk, syrups, pastries, and other supplies, communicating needs to management.
- Educate customers on coffee origins, flavor profiles, brewing methods, and menu items.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
Required Skills
- Proven customer service experience with a positive and engaging demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar food service role.
- Knowledge of coffee varieties, roasting levels, and brewing techniques.
- Experience with latte art.
- Current Food Handler's Permit or ability to obtain one upon employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
