career.imfdirectgov is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Part-Time Restaurant Barista to join our vibrant team for weekend shifts at our community hub in Faunsdale, Alabama. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company recipes and standards.
- Operate espresso machines, blenders, and other coffee-making equipment safely and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service, taking orders accurately, handling cash and card transactions, and addressing customer inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting coffee bar area, including regular cleaning of equipment, countertops, and seating areas.
- Monitor and restock inventory for coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, communicating needs to management.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by assisting colleagues and maintaining clear communication.
- Handle customer feedback professionally, striving to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
- Open and close the café section, including preparing for service and completing closing duties as required for weekend shifts.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role.
- Strong knowledge of coffee beverages, espresso preparation, and milk frothing techniques.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
