Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload freight by hand or using material handling equipment onto and off of trucks and trailers.
- Verify counts, product identification, and report any discrepancies or damaged products immediately.
- Safely and accurately stack and organize products in designated warehouse areas.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
- Prepare items for shipment, including labeling, sorting, and staging as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse management.
Required Skills
- Ability to consistently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Strong physical stamina and endurance for extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods.
- Reliable and punctual, especially for night shift schedules.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills (reading labels, understanding instructions).
- Commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
