As a Warehouse Cargo Handler, you will be on the front lines, ensuring that cargo is handled safely, efficiently, and accurately. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload cargo from trucks, containers, and other vehicles.
- Sort, stack, and organize cargo within the warehouse according to established procedures.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively (training provided).
- Inspect incoming and outgoing cargo for damage or discrepancies, reporting issues as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and timely cargo movement.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs regularly, occasionally more with assistance).
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are paramount.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
