Key Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner, assisting them with product selection and inquiries.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately, including cash, credit, and debit payments.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all products, promotions, and services offered to effectively upsell and cross-sell.
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing, adhering to merchandising standards.
- Replenish stock on shelves, organize inventory, and assist with receiving new shipments as needed.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues efficiently, escalating complex situations to management when necessary.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues and supporting store objectives.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the store as required.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a customer service or retail sales role
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate a POS system and handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
