Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload freight from trailers and containers, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Sort and stage incoming and outgoing shipments according to established procedures and deadlines.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely and responsibly after proper training.
- Verify counts, identify damages, and accurately report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring compliance with all company safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and ensure smooth workflow.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including cleanup and organization, as needed to support operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and guidelines in a warehouse environment.
- Excellent punctuality and attendance for scheduled night shifts are essential.
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and understand instructions in English.
