Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating desired products.
- Provide comprehensive product information and demonstrate features and benefits.
- Actively listen to customer needs and recommend suitable solutions and complementary items.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems, handling cash, credit, and other payment methods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and display areas.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and courteously, escalating issues when necessary.
- Promote current sales, promotions, and loyalty programs to maximize sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding sales, safety, and operational standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal retail regulations.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ months of experience in a retail sales or customer service role
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a significant plus, given the Nogales location
- Experience with visual merchandising
