Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick customer orders from stock using various picking methods (e.g., scan guns, pick lists).
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified) safely and efficiently.
- Verify product descriptions, quantities, and quality to ensure order accuracy.
- Package orders securely for shipping, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and order fulfillment goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to read and interpret order sheets accurately
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods
- Basic math skills for counting and verification
- Reliable transportation to and from the Riverside South location
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse/logistics role
- Certification to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, reach truck, pallet jack)
