Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register and process various payment types (cash, credit/debit, gift cards).
- Greet all customers warmly, maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor throughout their transaction.
- Scan items, bag purchases carefully, and ensure correct pricing for all products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area, restocking supplies as needed.
- Assist customers with basic inquiries, direct them to product locations, and provide general information.
- Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring accuracy.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding cash handling, security, and customer service standards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and efficient customer flow.
