Key Responsibilities
- Assist Merchandising Manager with product selection, planning, and development processes to align with market trends and company objectives.
- Monitor inventory levels, track product performance, and assist in preparing actionable reports to optimize stock rotation and reduce excess inventory.
- Support the implementation of visual merchandising guidelines and planograms to ensure consistent and appealing product displays across our retail spaces.
- Conduct competitive analysis and research market trends to identify new opportunities and inform purchasing decisions.
- Prepare presentations, spreadsheets, and other materials for merchandising meetings and vendor communications.
- Coordinate samples, manage product data, and update item information in our internal systems with accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure cohesive product launches and promotions.
- Process purchase orders and communicate effectively with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, product specifications, and quality control.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to organize tasks, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and external partners.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- A genuine passion for retail, product, and consumer trends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
