Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver packages, documents, and other items to designated locations within Sheridan, Mississauga.
- Adhere to delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely service.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including signatures and timestamps.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members regarding delivery status or issues.
- Ensure the security and integrity of all items during transit.
- Comply with all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Represent career.imfdirectgov professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid G-class driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong navigational skills and familiarity with the Mississauga area.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
