Key Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring all dishes, glassware, and utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards.
- Sort, stack, and properly store clean dishes, ensuring proper rotation and accessibility for kitchen and service staff.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including routine cleaning of floors, sinks, walls, and dish machines throughout the shift.
- Assist with comprehensive kitchen clean-up tasks, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing surfaces, and diligently taking out trash and recycling.
- Support kitchen staff by ensuring a continuous and steady supply of clean dishes, and assisting with basic food prep tasks or inventory management as required.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and standard operating procedures.
- Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or safety concerns to management.
- Handle all cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly and according to manufacturer's and safety instructions.
- Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with team members to ensure smooth, synchronized, and efficient nightly operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to work consistently during night shifts, including weekends and holidays, with exceptional punctuality.
