Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular foot and/or vehicle patrols of designated premises and property during night shifts.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV, and promptly report any suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Document and prepare detailed, accurate incident reports for all security-related events.
- Secure and unsecure facilities, gates, and access points as per operational schedules.
- Provide assistance to employees, visitors, or emergency personnel as needed.
- Maintain a highly visible presence to deter unauthorized activities and ensure compliance.
- Perform routine safety checks and report any potential hazards or maintenance issues.
Required Skills
- Valid California Guard Card (BSIS issued).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a security role (night shift experience preferred).
- Excellent observational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities for effective reporting and interaction.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
