Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, iron, fold, and distribute a high volume of linen, towels, and uniforms according to established procedures.
- Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironers, safely and efficiently.
- Inspect all items for damage or stains before and after laundering, reporting any issues to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, equipment, and storage spaces.
- Ensure adequate supply of clean linens and uniforms are available to meet operational demands.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and company policies.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry moderate weight (up to 25-50 lbs).
