Key Responsibilities
- Accurately locate and pick customer orders from warehouse shelves based on provided picking lists or scanning devices.
- Verify product accuracy, quantity, and quality before packaging or staging.
- Safely operate manual and powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) after proper training.
- Package orders securely to prevent damage during transit, applying appropriate labels.
- Stage completed orders in designated areas for loading or further processing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and colleagues regarding inventory discrepancies or order issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and other warehouse-related tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality for weekend shifts.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand English to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
- Basic mathematical skills for counting and verifying quantities.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
