Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and courteously, initiating the service process with professionalism.
- Accurately identify and document customer concerns, questions, and specific service requests.
- Provide clear, concise, and transparent explanations of necessary vehicle repairs, maintenance, and associated costs.
- Schedule service appointments efficiently and manage the service bay workflow to ensure timely completion of work.
- Communicate regularly with customers regarding the status of their vehicle, any changes, or additional recommended services.
- Liaise effectively with service technicians to ensure all customer requirements are understood and executed correctly.
- Process payments, handle customer inquiries, and resolve any service-related issues to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive products, services, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and service scheduling software.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Valid UK driving licence.
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or an equivalent automotive qualification.
- Experience with specific automotive brands or luxury vehicles.
