Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive user research, usability testing, and analysis to inform design decisions and identify user needs.
- Translate user research insights, business requirements, and technical constraints into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Design intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency across platforms.
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency in design and development.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to ensure design solutions are feasible and meet project goals.
- Present and articulate design concepts, rationale, and user insights to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing results, and analytical data to continuously improve user experience.
- Stay abreast of the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies, advocating for best practices within the team.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of UI/UX projects and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Experience with conducting user research, usability testing, and iterating on designs based on feedback.
- Solid understanding of web and mobile design patterns, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
- Ability to communicate design concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, or a related field.
