As a Trainee Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods within our Tsawwassen facility. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick and prepare customer orders for shipment, contributing directly to our service quality and customer satisfaction. This role involves working in a dynamic warehouse setting, where safety, precision, and teamwork are paramount. You will learn the ropes from experienced team members, mastering the use of various equipment and inventory systems. We value hard work, reliability, and a positive attitude. Key Responsibilities
- Receive comprehensive training on order picking procedures, warehouse safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on picking lists or electronic devices.
- Verify product quantity, quality, and item numbers to ensure order accuracy.
- Prepare orders for shipment by packaging, labelling, and palletizing goods as per company standards.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and general warehouse organization.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good basic math skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications
