career.imfdirectgov is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Stockroom Associate to join our night shift team in Bay Minette, Alabama. In this essential full-time role, you will be the backbone of our inventory operations during critical off-peak hours, ensuring our stockroom is meticulously organized, well-maintained, and ready for daily operations. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching goods, all while upholding the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
- Accurately sort, label, and store inventory in designated locations within the stockroom.
- Pick and stage items for outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting to maintain stock accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if certified) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or safety hazards immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and operational efficiency during the night shift.
- Assist with other stockroom or warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
