Key Responsibilities
- Operate shuttle vehicles safely and courteously on designated routes and schedules.
- Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing personal belongings as needed.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and comfortable environment inside the shuttle for all passengers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering passenger questions and addressing concerns professionally.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route progress, delays, or incidents.
- Ensure punctuality and reliability for all assigned weekend shifts.
Required Skills
- Valid California Class C Driver's License.
- Clean driving record with no major infractions.
- Ability to work reliably on weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Strong commitment to passenger safety and comfort.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctuality and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage up to 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., retail, hospitality).
- Familiarity with the San Mateo, CA area and local routes.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle checks.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
