Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and retrieve customer orders from inventory locations based on picking lists or system directives.
- Carefully pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring proper cushioning and protective measures.
- Verify order accuracy, item quantity, and product quality before packaging and shipment.
- Print shipping labels and affix them to packages, preparing them for carrier pickup.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including stocking shelves, performing cycle counts, and organizing the warehouse.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks or hand trucks, as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or issues with inventory or orders to a supervisor promptly.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and understand picking lists and shipping documents.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs), bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Basic computer proficiency for order processing and inventory lookup.
