Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload cargo from trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles using appropriate equipment or manual methods.
- Inspect cargo for damage and accurately record discrepancies; report any issues immediately to the supervisor.
- Organize and store cargo in designated areas within the warehouse, ensuring optimal space utilization and easy accessibility.
- Operate various material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (training provided as needed).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all company and regulatory standards.
- Assist in inventory counts and maintain accurate cargo documentation and logs.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, actively participating in safety briefings and training sessions.
- Show initiative in learning new processes and taking on additional responsibilities as an emerging leader.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs regularly)
