Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive pre-shift vehicle checks, ensuring the HGV Class 2 vehicle is roadworthy and compliant with all legal and company safety standards.
- Execute safe and efficient transportation of various goods on designated routes, adhering to planned schedules, primarily during night hours.
- Strictly comply with all road traffic legislation, working time directives, and digital tachograph regulations.
- Ensure accurate completion of all delivery and collection documentation, including manifests, delivery notes, and proof of delivery records.
- Oversee or assist with the safe loading and unloading of goods, securing loads properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Report any vehicle defects, maintenance requirements, accidents, incidents, or delays to the transport office immediately.
- Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
- Communicate effectively with the transport team, dispatchers, and customers as required, providing updates on delivery status.

Required Skills
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
