career.imfdirectgov is seeking an experienced, highly professional, and discreet Executive Driver for immediate hiring to support our senior leadership and VIP guests in and around Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taf, and wider South Wales. This is a critical role that ensures the safe, punctual, and comfortable transportation of our executives, often on tight schedules and requiring a meticulous eye for detail. Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, reliable, and punctual transportation for senior executives and VIPs to various destinations.
- Maintain the executive vehicle(s) in pristine condition, ensuring cleanliness, regular servicing, and roadworthiness.
- Plan efficient routes, considering traffic, road conditions, and executive schedules to ensure timely arrivals.
- Assist executives with luggage, packages, and other personal effects as required.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise utmost discretion regarding passenger conversations and activities.
- Be available for scheduled and unscheduled driving duties, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and unexpected requests.
- Ensure a comfortable and productive environment within the vehicle for passengers.
Required Skills
- Full, clean UK driving license (Category B minimum).
- Proven experience as an Executive Driver or chauffeur (minimum 5 years).
- Excellent knowledge of Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taf, and surrounding areas of South Wales.
- Impeccable driving record with no endorsements.
- Strong sense of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to operate GPS devices and modern navigation systems proficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Professional demeanour and appearance.
