Key Responsibilities
- Greet patrons warmly while exercising discretion in granting entry, ensuring compliance with age and dress code policies.
- Verify identification for all guests to ensure legal drinking age and prevent underage entry.
- Maintain a visible and authoritative presence at designated entry points and throughout the venue.
- Monitor guest behavior, identifying and addressing potential issues or disturbances proactively.
- De-escalate conflicts and resolve disputes calmly and effectively, using appropriate force only when absolutely necessary and in line with company policy.
- Manage crowd flow and capacity to prevent overcrowding and ensure comfortable movement within the venue.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Enforce all company policies and procedures, including those related to alcohol consumption and guest conduct.
- Collaborate closely with management, bar staff, and other security personnel to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist in emergency situations, including medical incidents, evacuations, and responding to alarms.
- Complete incident reports accurately and promptly for any security-related events or issues.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all guests and staff members at all times.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bouncer, Security Guard, or similar role in a high-volume hospitality environment.
- Excellent observational and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed under pressure.
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation abilities.
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations pertaining to public safety and alcohol service.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods, walk, lift, and respond to physical demands.
