Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and other beverages with speed and precision.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment.
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all beverages, including latte art.
- Provide exceptional customer service, taking orders accurately and engaging positively with patrons.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using a POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas.
- Monitor inventory of coffee beans, milk, and other supplies, reporting needs to management.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista, ideally within a busy café or hospitality setting.
- Demonstrable knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso extraction and milk frothing.
- Ability to perform basic latte art.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Right to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- Food hygiene certificate (Level 1 or 2).
- Experience with specialty coffee.
