Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Load, unload, and organize packages carefully, ensuring their security and integrity.
- Follow predetermined routes, adhering to delivery schedules and traffic laws.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records, including mileage, fuel, and delivery status.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing inquiries professionally.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with warehouse duties or package sorting as needed.
Required Skills
- Valid G-class driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Ottawa and surrounding areas, particularly Westboro.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- High degree of reliability and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
