Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare goods for despatch according to order specifications and delivery schedules.
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring correct product placement and secure transport.
- Operate manual handling equipment (e.g., pump trucks, pallet trucks) and potentially MHE (e.g., forklifts) if licensed.
- Perform quality checks on outgoing shipments to ensure products are undamaged and correctly labelled.
- Maintain high standards of warehouse organisation and cleanliness, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and update warehouse management systems accurately.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures, particularly regarding security and safety during night operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a warehouse or despatch environment, ideally on a night shift.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices within a warehouse setting.
- Good physical stamina and capability to lift and move heavy items as required.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Forklift (Counterbalance/Reach) licence.
